Rabiah Ahmed

Senior Media Relations Advisor | She/Her

Rabiah Ahmed is a seasoned communications professional with over twenty years of experience in media relations, narrative building, and strategy development. Her journey began with a passion for empowering marginalized communities. Frustrated with the pervasive misrepresentation of the American Muslim community, Rabiah embarked on a mission to challenge stereotypes and amplify authentic voices within the Muslim narrative. She spearheaded multiple campaigns such as "My Faith My Voice" and "Millions of Conversations" that not only confronted misconceptions but also empowered individuals to reclaim their narratives and fostered dialogue for mutual understanding.

More recently, Rabiah Ahmed has expanded her scope to address pressing issues such as disability justice, immigration, health equity, environmental justice, and racial justice. Drawing on her expertise in media relations and narrative development, she has conducted extensive research and crafted strategic solutions to tackle these challenges head-on.

Rabiah calls Northern Virginia home, where she resides with her husband and three children. She's proud of her Detroit roots and she loves to travel and spend time with her beloved family and friends.
